We have ‘Maters and Peppers!

June 9, 2009
By

I don’t have pics but promise to take some real soon!

WE HAVE ‘MATERS!

I noticed that the Roma Tomato plant has three ‘maters (they haven’t gotten big enough to call them tomatos)! They are tiny but they are ‘maters in the garden!

Woo Hoo – lookout Salsa here I come!

The peppers are about the size of a toddler’s fist and I can’t wait for them to color up!

I am just so excited I could bust about the vegetables!

This is our first venture into gardening and I believe I am doing my parents proud! They have a huge garden and I learned alot of tips and tricks from them!

Well, gotta run for now but I promise to get some pictures up soon. Especially of little Frankie Blue Eyes the new baby at the barn – a Cremello colt with Blue Eyes!

I can't wait to see the pictures! I on the other hand would not be doing your parents proud! LOL! My tomato plants are the same size as when I put them in the ground last month. I don't have much luck with tomatoes but for some reason I keep trying. Stubborn or stupidity, pick one. I would just like to keep them alive this year. I don't care if I get one mater'.
And thank you for your kind and loving words today.

    SonyaAnn,
Thanks for visitin' the ranch! I sympathize with you and what you are going through. I think it helps that we have some of the best fertilizer around – you know with horses what goes in comes out the back end and we compost everything. I think it is better than the miracle grow fertilizer!

I can't believe how fast things started to bloom!

Stop by again and thanks for commenting!
