Meal Plan Monday

Sorry for the late posting – things are still going half throttle right now and I’m trying to wean myself off of the pain pills – I’m having a hard time sleeping and having weird wacky dreams and I think it is because of the pain medication. I’m trying to get my knee to bend more because I know what is going to happen at therapy so I’m trying to get it limbered up. I will take 1 instead of 2 pain pills and hopefully this will keep the pain in check but let me sleep at night.

Here is our meal plan for the week:

Monday –
Breakfast – Protien drink
Lunch – Chicken
Dinner – Potato Soup

Tuesday
Breakfast – Oatmeal, 1 egg
Lunch – Potato soup
Dinner – Beans

Wednesday
Breakfast – Protien Drink
Lunch – Chicken / Beans
Dinner – Chicken Italiano with vegetables

Thursday
Breakfast – Oatmeal, 1 egg
Lunch – Turkey
Dinner – Beans

Friday
Breakfast – Protein Drink
Lunch – Chicken / tuna
Dinner – Steak, sweet potato, salad

Saturday
Breakfast – eggs, bacon, oatmeal
Lunch – Baked Potato
Dinner – Left overs

Sunday
Breakfast – Omeletes
Lunch – Steak tips with salad
Dinner – Chicken salsa with salad

I’m excited to start the therapy and start the training program once I return to work which I hope will be next Wednesday. We will take it one week at a time per Doc Kieffer.
