Honey Locust Hills…..I Won!

April 9, 2013

Have you entered one of those Facebook contests yet?

I did and I won!

Honey Locust Hills  was having a Name the baby goat contest on their Facebook page.

This here is the Baby Goat  that I got the pleasure to name……..ELI – isn’t he a doll baby?  He is truly a miracle because just shortly after this scare, he knocked a scab off where he was debudded and darn near bled to death!  Thank the Lord for miracles!

What did I win? WHAT DID I WIN? I won some homemade goat cheese from Honey Locust Hills and I selected:

Goat Cheese with Herbes de Provence – Doesn’t it look Yummy (it was!)? Love the Jar it came in too!  She packed it in Oil so that it would not have to be refrigerated as I was in St. Louis on Business and another one of our blogger friends Kelly at Adorned Well works at the HQ for our company, she brought it to me and I was able to get it home.

Once home, I unboxed my jar and grabbed some crackers and two of the Herbes de Provence rounds, a glass of cool ice tea, and enjoyed!  Luckily, Bear does not go in for goat cheese so it is all mine! I snacked on it for a week and hope I can get some more when I come up in a week……hint hint!  Go check out Honey Locust Hills and Adorned Well and tell them Nancy at Raging Bear Ranch sent ya!

If you like food, you might want to check out their Foodie Friends Friday Linky Party.  You can find the posts on both their blogs.  Really great recipies and nice prizes for winners!
